Palike to file case against pvt developer

At an inspection conducted by the Committee recently, it was found that the land on which the developer was constructing an apartment consisting 1,190 flats was illegal. Thereby, the Committee has directed the developer to suspend all construction activity.

The developer had encroached 320 mts X 10 mts width of the main storm water drain. In its place an artificial drain was constructed, said members of the Committee.

The existence of the drain was found in the survey map in the custody of tahsildhar of North Taluk. The developers had also encroached 380 mts X 8 mts on the same land, they added.
