The atmosphere was quite high with energy and one could hear the music and laughter from the road outside Indiranagar Club.

Beautifully decorated with bright lights, the Club looked almost like a wedding venue with people pouring in continuously. The event was a mega  musical programme being held on the occasion of Indiranagar Club Day.

After a short wait, the audience was welcomed by the presenter Smita Parekh who started the slightly chilly evening with a beautiful sher. Singer Nayan Rathore came on stage next and entertained the crowd with the evergreen songs of Kishore Kumar.

Starting with the romantic song, Ek Ajnabe Haseena Se, he went to croon another love song — Dilbar Mere Kabtak Mughe.  Other tracks were much more upbeat, like the popular Apni To Jaise Taise, Bachna Ae Haseeno and Om Shanti Om. The next one to come on stage was Neha Chauhan who enthralled everyone with her rendition of Mayya Mayya.

And she finished her performance with Aaj Ki Raat, the crowd welcomed on stage, the ever popular Udit Narayan. Udit was joined on the stage by the XLNC dance team, who performed along with him.

He started with the popular number Papa Kehte Hai, which had catapulted him into stardom, and the energetic dance that came with it made it even more enjoyable.

He followed this with a moving rendition of the popular song Tere Naam and then the fun number Ruk Ja O Dil Deewane.  Some of the other songs that came from Udit included Ae Mere Humsafar, Jadoo Teri Nazar, Raja Ko Rani Se Pyar Ho Gaya, Kya Karen Ke Na Karen and Bholi Si Surat.

The front side of the stage was soon filled with small children who started dancing to the tunes of the singer. The evening also had popular numbers like Koi Mil Gaya, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and Khaike Paan Banaraswala from Udit, which kept the young crowd hooked.

The singer performed happy upbeat numbers as well as soulful numbers like Chand Chupa and Mitwa, which was enjoyed by one and all.

There were a lot of requests for the song Pehla Nasha.

Although Udit ignored the requests earlier, he sang it later for his young fans.  That song had everyone in a trance. The audience was glued to their seats till the end and enjoyed a night of some of the most popular Bollywood songs.
