Nestle India Q4 net up 80.12%

Total Income of the company during the quarter to Rs 1684.86 crore versus Rs 1362.35 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2009.

For the full accounting year ended December 31, 2010, Nestle has posted a net profit of Rs 818.66 crore, which is an increase of 24.98 per cent over the previous year at Rs 655 crore. Total Income has increased from Rs 5,167.17 crore for the Year ended December 31, 2009 to Rs 6,297.40 crore for the Year ended December 31, 2010.

The board of Nestle India at its meeting held on February 18, 2011, recommended a final dividend for 2010 of Rs 12.50 per equity share.   The board also proposed for shareholders nod at the AGM to be held on April 19, increase in the borrowing limits up to a maximum of Rs 2,500 crore and taken on record the in-principle approval received from RBI for availing External Commercial Borrowings of upto $450 Million over a period of time, in tranches.
