Palike pruning 'leaves' a mess

The Palike clipped the branches of the trees ravaged by the recent rains, but forgot to clear the pavements of the trimmings.

Even three days after pruning the trees, none in the BBMP bothered to remove the leaves and branches lying on the pavements.

Cricket buffs were seen walking on the roads as stretches of the pavements were strewn with the green waste. No BBMP official, as usual, was available for a comment.
