General Electric has reported a 47 per cent decline in profit for the second quarter at US$2.67 billion.
The firm reported a profit of US$2.67 billion on revenues of US$39.08 billion for the three months ended June, it said in a statement on Friday. General Electric had a profit of US$ 5.07 billion in the year-ago period.
The second quarter revenues plunged 17 per cent to US$39.08 billion against US$ 46.84 billion in the same period a year ago.
