Orders on budget schemes soon

In his reply to the discussion on the budget, he said the departments usually wasted four to five months before issuing the orders. But in the coming year, there would not be any delay, he stated.

The government would deposit Rs 5,000 under Suvarna Bhoomi scheme into the bank accounts of those entitled to the scheme by April-end. The remaining Rs 5,000 would be deposited in August.

The Aasare scheme to distribute houses for the flood-affected people would be completed by May this year, he added.

The chief minister said he would look into the suggestion by the Opposition members to extend one percent crop loan scheme to farmers who had taken loans from commercial banks also.
