Teachers asked to maintain discipline

 
Gowda has stated in the circular that the issue of some of the teachers and staff venturing out during the duty hours to tend to their personal work had come to the notice of Zilla Panchayat President who in turn had urged the official to take action against the offenders.

According to the civil service rules and circulars of the Department, a government employee must obtain prior permission from their superiors before taking leave or leaving headquarters, Gowda added.

Gowda said that if employees were venturing out during the duty hours they were supposed to enter it in movement register after obtaining
permission.

Teachers and staff must adhere to the rules, he added.
