<p>Ranjith (32) was found hanging from a ceiling fan at his house in Babusabpalya on Sunday evening. Ranjith, a carpenter, was married to Sumathi and had two children. Police said Ranjith was an alcoholic and the couple often quarrelled over his addiction.<br /><br />On Sunday evening, Ranjith returned home in an inebriated state and his wife picked up a quarrel with him. Upset with his wife, Ranjith is said to have gone into the room and committed suicide by hanging.<br /><br />In another incident, Abdul Jafar (26) was also found hanging from a ceiling fan in his house on Modi Road in Devarajeevanahalli.<br /><br />Jafar was working as a taxi driver and had quit the job recently. Police said Jafar and his wife fought over the issue and elders in the family had tried to make peace between them. <br /><br />But in vain. Jafar’s wife had moved to her parents’ house and refused to return. Disappointed with this, he may have committed suicide, police said.</p>
