'We are not mafia. We need not listen to what Americans say', Narayanan told a Malayalam news channel at Sabarimala. Narayanan, presently the West Bengal Governor, was in Sabarimala last evening to offer worship at the hillshrine of Lord Ayappa.
According to Wikileaks, the US embassy noted in a cable in 2005 that 'along with principal secretary (in PMO) T K A Nair, Narayanan constitutes what is now a Keralite mafia in the PMO.'
