The arrested have been identified as Narender Singh (19), Deepak (19), Satish Sharma (22) and Sonu (23).

"We have solved out a case of motor vehicle theft within 5 hours of the incident with the help of GPS installed in the motorcycle the gang stole," S K Jain, Deputy Commissioner of Police (North-East), said.

With their arrest, four stolen motorcycles have been recovered and as many cases of motor vehicle theft have been worked out. The gang had yesterday stole the motorcycle of one Vivek Kumar from Bhajanpura.

"The complainant told us that he had installed GPS on his motorcycle. The investigators started moving as per the location of  GPS fitted motorcycle and after about five hours managed to intercepted the vehicle at Chaman Vihar in UP's Loni," Jain said.

Deepak and Narender were the first to be arrested. They told police that they used to steal the motor cycles and sell them through their friend Satish, who was also arrested. Following Satish's interrogation, police arrested Sonu who bought  a stolen motorcycle from him.
