“Business will continue. The servicing given to clients will continue because they are very very important,” Infosys COO S D Shibulal said. “We have capacity all over India, Japan’s works happen in many of our developing centres, it could be Mysore, Bangalore, Chandigarh. People are going back to wherever is the base location of the corresponding programme,” he said.
L&T Info to fly staff back
Meanwhile, L&T Infotech Ltd, a unit of engineering major Larsen & Toubro, said it would bring back all 185 expatriate staff and their families from Japan, reports DHNS. The company has contracted a special flight to evacuate the employees for a temporary period, it said.
