ASC were powered by a 13-point effort by Atif, supported well by Jayarangan, who scored 10 points. Ananda scored 12 points for Blues in a losing effort. In another match of the day, Jayanagar Sports Club edged out Hindustan Aeronautics Sports Club 69-60 courtesy extra-time. Both teams were tied 58-all after regulation time of four quarters. Kaushal was the architect of a JSC win on the day as he came up with a whopping 32 points while Sujan netted 16 points.
Sachindra (20) and Sweeto (17) did their best to keep HASC in the hunt but their efforts weren’t enough to alter the course of the match.
