<p>The entrance exam for management quota seats for MBA and MCA was taken by 5,200 students in Bangalore alone in six centres across the City.<br /><br />The test is organised each year by the Karnataka Private Post-graduate Colleges Association (KPPCA). <br /><br />Secretary of the KPPCA, Dr M Prakash told Deccan Herald that the test went off smoothly with no incidents of malpractice.<br /><br />“The absentee percentage was only 11 per cent which is lower than last year’s percentage (18 per cent). There were also an unprecedented number of walk-in candidates this year,” he said. <br /><br />Dr M Prakash added that the results of the entrance test will be announced in a week’s time. Students can check the results on the website: www.kmatindia.com <br />There were a total of 600 candidates, who registered at the venues just before the examination. <br /><br />All students who appeared for the examination were given a bulletin with information of nearly 127 colleges in the State that come under KMAT. <br />The students were tested for language comprehension, basic aptitude, logical reasoning and current affairs.<br /></p>
