Majority among the successful candidates were offered with job letters, while a few others were asked to attend another round of interview. Among the chunk of candidates who made it were ITI, diploma and engineering graduates.
A total of 33 companies screened the candidates from seventh passed to graduates of various disciplines.
The process that began with the enrolment at 9 am saw a volley of job aspirants totalling about 3,000 from Mysore, Mandya and Chamarajanagar districts.
The fair previous year had witnessed a total of 1,730 unemployed youth avail job in different fields.
Former minister and MLA H S Mahadevaprasad and MLA M Satyanarayan, former MLA M K Somashekar who is also the chairman of the trust were present during the inaugural session.
