Additional Civil and Sessions court judge C B Hipparagi referred the complaint to Superintendent of Police, Lokayukta, Bangalore, directing him to complete his inquiry and furnish a final report on the matter within six seeks.
The Special judge then adjourned the matter to May 4. RTI activist, M Manjunath who filed the complaint in his sworn statement had submitted that Ashoka "illegally denotified" 23 guntas (a gunta is 1/40th of an acre) of land in Lottegollahalli which was earlier acquired by Bangalore Development Authority for formation of Raj Mahal Vilas Layout and registered it in his favour.
