Dog attacks 6 in Malur

Children - Umesh (8), Trisha (4), Ashwini (5) and Nagesh (3) were playing when a dog pounced on them. They suffered severe injuries. Later, it also attacked eight-year-old Durgaprasad and Krishnappa (55). Krishnappa suffered injuries when he tried to chase the dog with a stick. Krishnappa’s eyes have suffered severe injuries. However, Krishnappa beat up the dog and killed it. “I did not had any choice. It could have injured many more,” he said.

The injured are being treated at the taluk hospital and the district hospital.
