Besides, by convening the meeting, Yeddyurappa forced the rebel ministers to cancel their New Delhi visit and attend the meeting. S A Ramadas, Govind Karjol, Vishveshwara Hegde Kageri and Karunakara Reddy, said to be part of the rebel camp, also attended the meeting.
Yeddyurappa said 21 of 27 ministers were present. Six ministers - Janardhana Reddy, Sriramulu, Jagadish Shettar, S A Ravindranath, V S Acharya and Mumtaz Ali Khan were absent.
