UPCL: Seer to continue fast despite CM's plea to stop

The CM’s letter was handed over to the seer by Deputy Commissioner Hemalatha. The CM has asked the seer to drop fasting and assured to take measures to set right the problems in UPCL.

The CM has said that he will send Udupi district-in-charge minister Dr V S Acharya to hold discussion with the seer. However, the seer said that the problems will not be solved by holding talks with Dr Achrya.

“Energy Minister Shobha Karandlaje, Environment Minister Krishna Palemar should visit the spot and then hold discussion with me. Even Chief Minister should hold discussion with me, if possible.

I will visit Bangalore on March 30 and the CM can provide me an appointment for discussion,” the seer said. It may be recalled that the seer had written a letter to the     C M a week ago, urging him to solve the problems in UPCL.
