Chandravathi had filed a complaint in May, last year, at the Vinobhanagar police station, against Halappa alleging the rape and threat to life against his associates, Basavaraju and Girish, under Section 506 IPC.
The CID team led by DSP Ramakrishna filed the charge sheet.
The charge sheet has been filed only against Halappa under Section 376 IPC.
The names of Basavaraju and Girish have not been included in it, said police sources.
