McDonald's came under fire when BBMP Commissioner Siddaiah during an early morning inspection noticed that the food joint had thrown waste on the road. An angry commissioner directed Palike's South Zone joint commissioner to close it down immediately and cancel its trade licence.

Siddaiah on Saturday inspected the condition of roads, parks and cleanliness at Jayanagar 2nd Block, V V Puram, Sajjan Rao Circle, Shankar Mutt Road, Bull Temple Road, Banashankari 3rd Stage. A general complaint he received was that garbage was not lifted on regular basis by the pourakarmikas.

The commissioner also visited Narasimhaswamy Park, Madhav Rao Park and Sajjan Rao Park. He instructed his subordinates to maintain parks efficiently. He also directed them to plant more number of trees in the Basavanagudi area.
