Construction material dumped in lake

 Residents called up Deccan Herald and complained that several trucks and tractors dumped loads of construction material and soil on the banks of the lake near the burial ground.

When the BBMP was contacted, a Palike officer assured to look into the matter and penalise those behind the act. The anti-encroachment drive was on, on the other side of the lake on the second day.
