He was speaking after setting into motion works of laying concrete roads in 16, 25, 31 wards of Kolar on Wednesday.
Works in the wards of the opposition party members will also be commenced shortly and concrete roads also will be laid, he promised.
He warned the contractors of strict action if the works are of sub-standard.
CMC president Nasir Ahmed, vice-president V K Rajesh, members Manjula Raghuram, V Prakash, Siraj, former member Pyarejan, Nagendra Babu and others were present.
