BJP hints Pawar be questioned over Radia revelations

"Niira Radia was in the thick of things on (2G spectrum allocation). She has made comments on Sharad Pawar though she has not produced any documentary evidence.
Probably she knows a lot about Pawar and he knows a lot about her. We would not say more," BJP spokesperson Nirmala Sitharaman said.

There are news reports that Radia told CBI that Pawar had a stake in DB Realty, whose Managing Director Shahid Usman Balwa is in jail in connection with the 2G spectrum allocation scam. BJP maintained that if Pawar's name has cropped up in the case, the authorities should verify this claim made by Radia and also seek clarifications from the minister if it felt the need to do so.
