Sai temple at Shirdi receives Rs 3 crore in donation in 3 days

This is the hundredth year of the festival.

Rs 1.77 crore were received in the cash-box in the Sai temple, while rest of the amount was collected in the trust office, against donation receipts.

Executive officer of the trust, Kishor More, told PTI today that besides cash, 5 kg silver, 200 gm gold, and a one kg gold crown too were donated by devotees.

Around 1.8 lakh devotees received `mahaprasad' in these three days, he said.
