Three die in separate mishaps in Ch' nagar tq

Maniyamma(35) and Chikkamahadev(45) died  and another person was seriously injured when the goods autorickshaw in which they were travelling toppled near Ummathur in the taluk. They were going to Jannur village to attend marriage. 

The negligence of the driver is said to be the  cause for mishap. The autorickshaw collided with another autorickshaw which was coming from the opposite direction. While Maniyamma died on the spot, Chikkamahadev breathed his last at K R Hospital in Mysore. Kuderu Police have registered a case.

Drowns

In another incident, a person  drowned at Nagavalli lake in the taluk, on Saturday. He jumped into the tank in an inebriated condition. Ravi (22) of Nallur is the deceased. He was working in a factory in Tamil Nadu and had returned to village a few days back. Though he drowned on Saturday, the body was fished out on Sunday. Expert divers from Shivanansamudra helped in searching the body. Ramasamudra Police have registered a case.

Three held

Police arrested three persons on the charges of storing explosives at Rechamballi village in the taluk, on Sunday. Siddaraju, Srinivas and Nagaraj are the accused. Ramasamudra Police have registered a case.
