The leaders, addressing the reporters after holding a district working committee meeting on Sunday, said Gollahalli Shivaprasad had said Ambedkar had proposed that everyone had a right to equal living and equal rights and this was losing its significance these days.
The dalit movement, which was born to fight against the exploitation at the grassroots was losing its way, they added.
Hence everyone concerned should do introspection is what Gollahalli Shivaprasad had said expressing his concern for the society. This, the district DSS was welcoming openly.
Difficult to digest
However, it was very unfortunate that a few people in the name of dalits were making statements unable to stomach the naked truths.
