JOIN USThe 32-year-old woman alleged that Bhanwar Lal (52) offered her a spiked drink during a Reiki session last evening. After consuming the drink, she fell unconscious and did not remember what happened after that, police said.
Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing.
On her request, a medical test was conducted though the report was awaited. An FIR was also lodged under section 354 (assault or use of criminal force to outrage a woman's modesty) and other sections of the IPC.
However, later in the day, the woman withdrew her allegation and said she did not want any action in the matter.She said in writing that she was under the influence of drugs and had levelled a "false" allegation.
The woman has been staying in Pushkar since April 15, police said. Pushkar is a hot tourist spot and an important sacred Hindu pilgrim town.
