<p>Announcing the new brand name at press conference here, Managing Director and CEO of Cloudnine, Dr Kishore said "we have created a new benchmark in maternal care, safe delivery and care of newborns.<br /><br />"We feel we are on cloudnine today and a lot of our parents felt the same when they had their babies here.. that's when we decided to change the name".<br /><br />With demand for quality care growing, Cloudnine would set up two new centres of Excellence in Bangalore.Both the centres will become operational by this year end, Kishore said.<br /><br />In another two years, Cloudnine will mark its presence in Mysore, Chennai, Coimbatore, Kochi, Kozhikode (Calicut), Hyderabad and Mumbai, he said.<br /><br />"We are looking at an investment of about Rs 100 crore for all the new 30-40 bed centres with a staff strength of 120", said M A Rohit, Director, Cloudnine.<br /><br />Cloudnine, Kishore claimed, was "one of the safest maternity and woman care hospital in the world with 6000 deliveries, 3000 gynaec surgeries and zero mortality."<br /><br />Cloudnine, he said, is involved in clinical research with Stanford University USA, Notre Dame University, Australia, which helps them provide the best care as per international standards and also as per evidence based medicine.<br /><br />Cloudnine also has a one-day 'MBA' (Management of Baby Affairs) programme designed to make parents more efficient in dealing with most precious moment of their lives.<br />The hospital recently conducted a Uro Gynaecology workshop in which 100 gynaec surgeons underwent training.</p>
