Paryaya Putthige Shri Krishna math and Udupi District Kannada Saithya Parishath jointly organised the book releasing ceremony of ‘Purna Kumbha (Chaupada)’ by Prema Bhat here at Rajangana on Friday.

Speaking after releasing the book, Paryaya Putthige Seer Sri Sugunendratheertha Sripada opined that creativity has moved out from the life of man in the midst of fake ambiance. Today life is mechanical and in this milieu, there are less chances of creativity to emerge. Earlier litterateurs and their literary works were seen with high regards and respects. But today they are considered as the marginalised section. It is truly unfair, he said.

Man should cultivate the interest in art and literature and then only it is possible for him to have thorough knowledge of the basics of life. Life shouldn’t be inadequate with earning and consumption rather it should be the house for various creativities, the Pontiff added.

State Kannada Sahithya Parishath Former President Dr Sa Shi Marulayya presided over the programme.

State Kannada Sahithya Parishath former President Harikrishna Punaroor, Dakshina Kannada District Kannada Sahithya Parishath President Pradeep Kumar Kalkura, Udupi District President Ambhathanaya Mudradi, Senior Litterateur from Belgaum L S Shasthri and others were present.
