JOIN USGanesh (32), a tailor and resident of Vyalikaval, committed suicide by jumping in front of a moving train on Thursday near the Windsor Manor Bridge. A suicide note found by the police stated that he was taking the extreme step due to his prolonged illness.
In another case, Shivappa, a native of Ramanagara committed suicide by hanging from a tree in the City on Wednesday night. The body was found by morning walkers near Fun World along Palace Grounds. The High Grounds police have found a suicide note in his pocket and have registered a case of unnatural death.
In another incident, the Adugodi Police have found an unidentified burnt body at the PWD quarters premises along 80 feet road in Indiranagar. A can of kerosene and a matchbox was found near the body.
