JOIN USSharing this information with the media, organiser of the event, Biligiri Ranganath said the programme is being held under the auspices of Amoggh television channel and has been a regular feature since last five years. Raj Nrutyotsava, a dance competition will be held at 1 pm on the day.
This competition will help discover newer talents in the city and encourage them, Ranganath said. Winners will be announced the same evening and will be given cash award, he added.
Film director Bhagawan will inaugurate the event, which will be presided over by MP Adaguru H Vishwanath in the evening. Journalist K B Ganapathy will speak on Dr Rajkumar’s life and achievements. MLCs Siddaraju, Sandesh Nagaraj, MUDA Chairman Nagendra, Karnataka Exhibition Authority Chairman B P Manjunath, film producer Vijaykumar T Chhabria, B L Girija Shankar and others are expected to participate. Award instituted in Dr Rajkumar’s memory will be presented to people from various walks of life.
