Jumbos raid agri field near Malavalli town

A team of officials led by Assistant Conservator of Forest Ramalingegowda visited the spot. The personnel are trying to drive away the jumbos back to jungle.

Three days back, the elephants had destroyed sugarcane grown on an acre of land at Dasanadoddi village. Though those villagers had chased back the jumbos to Kundurbetta forests, they have come again.

Meanwhile, the forest personnel Chandru, Mahadevappa and the cops are camping near the tank to drive out the elephants from that spot. Rural Circle Inspector G S Raghu visited the spot.
