Lal was the deputy director general (Procurement) and Prasad was the joint director general (Sports) in the OC.
Kalmadi was arrested after he was questioned again in connection with alleged irregularities in the contracts awarded for the Oct 3-14, 2010 mega sports event. Both the officials were arrested minutes before Kalmadi, a CBI officer said.
