Twenty eight others were injured and two of them have been referred to the PGI, Chandigarh and are said to be in critical condition.
The front tyre of the truck coming from the opposite direction burst, following which the truck lost its balance and rammed straight into the bus.
Dr Mahesh Sharma, chairman of the Shri Ram Institute of Management and Technology said that there were 41 persons including 27 students, 12 staff members, in the bus.
