Three flights cancelled

Passengers headed to Kolkata, Hyderabad and Muscat from the Bengaluru International Airport were accommodated in private airlines, said V Chandrasekhar, senior manager, (corporate communications), Air India.

Four flights operating to Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai and the Maldives were operational and two flights heading to Mumbai and Chennai were clubbed. The direct flight to the Maldives from Bangalore had to make a stopover at Thiruvananthapuram.

The airline cancelled 126 flights and operated 39, including the jumbo service in the Mumbai-Delhi sector, on Friday.
