Speaking to Deccan Herald, Superintendent of Police Labu Ram said that no one has been arrested so far and the investigation is on.
A police team on the spot has failed to get any clue about the culprit. It was said that Ramakrishna had returned from Delhi two days ago. His daughter’s engagement was scheduled to be held in Bangalore on May 5. At the same time, his son Vallish had celebrated his birthday on Thursday. The last rites were performed on Friday at Atloor in Ajjavara.
Ramakrishna was taking a stroll with his youngest son Vallish (13) near PWD office when two unidentified miscreants arrived in a motorbike, assaulted Ramakrishna with knives and fled the spot.
