Speaking at Janaspandana programme organised at Kallenahalli in Tarikere, Suresh said government has introduced several programmes for the welfare of the people. Officials should implement these programmes.
Stringent action will be initiated against officials who do not respond to the problems of the people, he warned.
It has been decided to listen to the grievances of the people in 288 villages in the taluk.
A sum of Rs 25 lakh has been released for the water project in Kallenahalli as per the Nanjundappa report.
Tarikere AC C Vijayakumar, TP Member Shambainur Anandappa, GP President G Ishwarappa and others were present.
