<p>The deceased has been identified as Gulam Jilani (40) son of late Moinuddin. <br /><br />A native of Uttar Pradesh, he was a small time vendor. He had married a woman in Chikmagalur a decade ago. Recently, the family shifted to Mysore and was living with his sister-in-law’s family in Kesare here. He had thrown himself under the wheels of Mysore- Shimoga intercity train, in the railway station. He along with his wife was working as labourers, in a private firm that had bagged the contract of cleaning at the railway station. <br /><br />His identity was traced with the help of ID card found on the body. <br /><br />According to his wife, he left for Chikmagalur citing some work and she herself had dropped him at the railway station on Friday night. He had also bought a ticket for Kadur. <br /><br />He may have taken the extreme step owing to acute stomach ache, she added.<br />Railway police have registered a case.</p>
