Six arrested for providing sim cards to militants

Acting on specific inputs that a group of people are working as couriers for militants by providing them mobile sim cards, a police team raided several places in Surankote and Mendhar areas and arrested six persons here yesterday, Sub-Divisional Police Officer, Surankote, Javaid Iqbal said.

The arrested persons have been identified as Waqar Ahmed and Pawar Ahmed (both brothers), Arshad Ahmed, Imran Ahmed, Khalid Quarishi and Tahir Khan.
