Products worth lakhs of rupees were gutted in an accidental fire at the confectionery godown of a biscuit factory unit at Attur Layout near Yelahanka on Sunday morning.
The fire broke out in the godown of ‘Parle G’ biscuit factory around 11 am. Four fire tenders rushed to the spot and doused the fire after about two hours.
The exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. The company sources estimate the loss of property at around Rs 10 lakh.
