Low on budget as also entertainment quotient, Seema Tapakai, laden with commercial potpourri lives on the hope it will be lapped up by mass audience. However, it fails to live up to its intended objective. Furthermore, it also lays lie to its makers claims that it has a homily for young adults except sentimental sermonising by its lead star.
With nothing of notable merit in its favour, G Nageswara Reddy’s core comic kernel centres around the class divide of its main protagonists. A richie rich beau’s mirthful efforts to hitch his middle class heartthrob by donning a menial’s part is expected to be having audiences guffawing away.
Instead of fun-filled smiles they evoke sniggers as the purportedly hilarious drama is as dull and dry as it can be. Neither Allari Naresh’s best efforts nor Poorna’s asset-displaying antics, are enticing enough to lift Seema Tapakai from the morass it sinks in. Period.
