Executive engineer D R Kenchappa has been suspended allegedly for buying an ‘inferior’ car without getting approval from higher authorities, it is learnt.

The other suspended officers of the BBMP are: additional revenue officer (Dasarahalli) Srinivasamurthy, additional assistant revenue officer (Yeshwantpur) Iswaraiah, revenue inspector Chikkaputtegowda, bill collector Venkataiah, and a second division clerk Sharadamma, according to a press release.
