Water Supply and Sewerage Board (BWSSB) Chairman P B Ramamurthy said on Tuesday.
Speaking to presspersons, he said although there was a need to seek 'permits' from different departments, there would be a meeting shortly where all the issues would be solved.

He said a new date would be fixed for the joint inspection with the consent of the minister.
Heads of different government agencies and departments would be invited, he added.
BWSSB has apparently paid up to Rs nine crore to Bangalore Development Authority (BDA) for restoration work and about Rs four core to other agencies to lay water pipeline within the City limits for these work.

Ambedkar's anniversary

BWSSB Workers' Union had organised a function to celebrate 120th birth anniversary of Dr B R Ambedkar on the occasion of Buddha Poornima on Tuesday.

Karnataka Sanskrit University Vice-Chancellor Mallepuram G Venkatesh called upon dalits to read books written by Ambedkar.

"Dalits are losing ground and are not focused in their fight. Till date no one could grow to the level of Ambedkar's  stature. We do not have even one person for every 100 dalits who has read books written by Ambedkar. There is need to create awareness and encourage people to cultivate the habit of reading," Venkatesh said.

The first Vice Chancellor of Sanskrit University, who is a dalit, gave an insight into Ambedkar's life and his way of thinking in dealing with social issues.
