Uma for law to protect river Ganga

With Uttarakhand Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank accepting the demand for not shifting the old Dhari Devi temple from the site of under-construction 330 MW Alaknanda hydel project at Srinagar, Bharti said her first leg of agitation for the Ganga has been completed.

Bharti said she will write to MPs, heads of different political parties in states through which the Ganga passes, to garner support for the cause.
