Three vendors injured in scuffle

The incident occurred at around 7.30 pm on Wednesday. Old enmity due to financial transaction and ‘love affair’ is said to be the reasons behind the incident.

Inayat, Dinesh and Somashekar who were involved in fruit business at Kattinakere market are the injured. Dinesh and Somashekar are brothers. It is alleged that Inayat was in love with Dinesh’s sister and this had created enmity between them.

There had been frequent quarrelling between them over the issue earlier too.

Scuffle

The same matter which had cropped up on Wednesday led to have sparked a scuffle.
 They even attacked each other with sharp weapons, leading to injuries, say local traders.

All the three were injured on face, neck and have been admitted to government hospital for treatment.

Additional Superintendent of Police K Yellappa, Dy SP Channabasappa, Girijesh and others visited the hospital and has collected information from all the three, according to sources.
