The protesters said that  the Central government must appoint a new governor for the state in the place of Hansraj Bhardwaj.

Addressing the protesters BJP District General Secretary S N Ramaswamy alleged the Governor of conspiring to dismiss the government which was formed in a democratic way by winning majority votes.

The Congress and JD(S) parties which are frightened to face the direct election are conspiring against the BJP. They want to come to power by hook or by crook, Ramaswamy said.

“Hansraj Bhardwaj had allowed Warren Anderson, the main culprit behind Bhopal tragedy to flee from the nation. He was supposed to be imprisoned, but unfortunately he has been sent as the Governor of out state. We do not need someone of his calibre to take classes on constitution for us,” he mocked.

BJP District Organising Secretary B K Ganesh Rao said that people have backed the BJP in all the recent elections. The Congress and the JD(S) which are envy over the developmental activities taken up by the BJP government are conspiring to topple the government, he criticised.
