CLAT results out; website down

Last Updated 28 May 2011, 17:30 IST

Though the results were made available at 6 pm, the official website suffered significant outage and several candidates were unable to log on even as late as 10 pm.

The authorities at the National Law School University of India, Bangalore, said they were not aware of the situation since the varsity had not organised the test this year. The West Bengal National University of Judicial Sciences, Kolkata, had organised the test.

Several candidates expressed frustration on the lack of access to the website. “I have been trying to access the website since 5:30 pm, but no luck. Sometimes the home page loads, but when we enter the details, it returns a blank page,” a candidate said.

Around 23,000 candidates appeared for the fourth edition of the CLAT held earlier this month. Exactly 23,875 candidates had registered for the test.  In Bangalore, 987 candidates of the 1,068 registered students took the test.
