'Quality education makes better citizens'

He was speaking at the inauguration of the Diamond Jubilee Auditorium in Mount Carmel College, here on Tuesday.

The Governor said, lecturers play a very important role in imparting moral education to the students. They play a crucial role in the overall development of students. Though, parents encourage and instill confidence among children, it is teachers who impart the required knowledge to them. They also guide students to excel in all aspects of life,” he added.
Presiding over the function, Sister Principal Albina said that in 1945, Sister Teresa established the Mount Carmel institutions in Thrissur and later, the Mount Carmel College was started in Bangalore, to impart quality education to women.
