BJP trying to get rid of Yeddy and Reddy: Cong

“The BJP government in Karnataka has completed three years in power and it has taken corruption, nepotism and communal tension to new heights. Now, even the BJP’s central leadership is trying to get rid of Yeddy and Reddy,” Congress spokesperson Manish Tiwari told reporters here taking a dig at the present controversy in the BJP over Reddy brothers.

BJP leader Sushma Swaraj on Friday had alleged that the decision to give cabinet berths to Janardhan and Karunakar Reddy in Yeddyurappa government was taken by Arun Jaitley and senior leaders M Venkaiah Naidu and Ananth Kumar.

Tiwari also alleged that the State has moved backwards on each and every index of development in the last three years, contrary to the advertisements in various newspapers that spoke about achievements of Yeddyurappa government.
