Allegations of illegal mining denied

Addressing a press conference, Managing Director of the company Narayana Rao said that some  vested interests were tarnishing the company’s image.

The company has taken  permission for mining for the next 20 years and there was no violation of government rule, he said.

The company had provided jobs to hundreds of labourers across the villages in and around Talur and has also supported many development activities like drinking water project and distribution of learning materials to school students, he said.

Free health camp

Training for NTSE exams

Govt stand condemned

The All India Democratic Students’ Organisation (AIDSO) has condemned the state government for providing 67 per cent seats to management private medical colleges.
The medical PG seats in Radiology, Paediatrics and other subjects are sold to crores of rupees, they alleged.
